Mendon Village Animal hospital was established on December 10, 1979 in the hamlet of Mendon, New York, by Dr. Stuart Gluckman. Last year we celebrated our 25th anniversary. The hospital now occupies its current site which was built in 1997.
In 1992 the hospital was selected for membership in the American Animal Hospital Association, (AAHA) which includes only 17% of pet care facilities nationally. These hospitals are chosen after extensive inspection and review and are based on their high standards of medical practice and hospital procedures.
Our highly trained staff of health care professionals continually strives to offer the best possible care for your pet. Client Service Coordinators and Licensed Veterinary Technicians are always available to answer questions or discuss concerns. We encourage you to use their expertise. Our staff members are known for their friendliness and compassion.
At Mendon Village Animal Hospital we do our best to maintain a personal, relaxed atmosphere so you and your pet are comfortable during your visit. We treat your pet as if he or she were our own. Offices hours with doctors or technicians are by appointment. House calls are a great convenience for multiple pet households, and elderly or disabled clients. They should be scheduled several weeks in advance. We respect your time by making every effort to see appointments as scheduled. If you must reschedule your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. Office hours are listed on our Home page.
We invite you to entrust the care of your canine or feline family member to us. We feel confident you will be pleased with the medical care and personal attention you receive. If you are pleased with our services, please tell others. If not, please tell us. We will be happy to discuss any concerns you have about your pet no matter how small it seems.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you and your pet.
